Member Spotlight: Jennifer Lowell

Meet Jennifer Lowell

Jennifer Lowell is an MD-MPH candidate interested in the foundations of human health and societies. She has worked to develop interdisciplinary approaches to questions of belonging, care, and presentations of value, including conducting clinical research in neurology and social connection at Brigham and Women’s Hospital.

Prior to medical school, Jennifer studied Classics and Philosophy at Harvard College and received her M.Phil in Medieval Studies from Trinity College and M.A. in Philosophy at Vanderbilt University. Jennifer has had the opportunity to work on archaeology excavations in Caesarea and Kenchreai and is interested in examining the intersections between environmental history, material culture, and human health and wellness.
